North Lake Tahoe Ski Resort Guide

North Lake Tahoe has some of the best ski resorts in the world. However, the task of choosing a ski resort can be such a disheartening when there are so many good ones. Here are some suggestions:

Before Squaw Valley is probably the best soil in the Tahoe basin. amazing facilities (when it hosted the Olympics in 1960). If you like steep terrain, this resort is for you. As for disadvantages, there may be a bit 'expensive if you do not have a season pass.A typical day rates are up to $ 80.

Second Alpine Meadows: The terrain is similar to Squaw Valley. With a wonderful mountain views. And the best part of the Alps, it has more of a local flavor and is cheaper than many other places around Lake Tahoe. You can often find good deals for Alpine. Keep your eyes open in supermarkets and shops ski.

Third Northstar at Tahoe: The resort is a family resort. If you areski very steep and deep North Star is probably not for you. But if you want to have a great time with the family, a village of North Star quant and fun runs for all levels of performance.

Fourth Sugar Bowl: This is one of the first basin Tahoe ski areas. It 's definitely a classic. Good soil for each skill, reasonable prices, good prospects, he got his everything.

Fifth Homewood: A small ski area on the west bank. It is not very experienced ground orDiversity but turns off the other ski resorts in one category: the view. Homewood has the best view of Lake Tahoe from every resort.

These are just some of my favorites. There are many more around the Tahoe area, but I encourage you to verify this. Have fun out there!
